Don’t Fear Your Greatest Teacher

As is your negative system

Negativity is a bad word isn’t it? It means that you’re being negative! You’re failing yourself, your life, irritating the people around you, refusing to pull yourself together. Not realising how lucky you are. Refusing to look on the bright side. And on and on and boringly on.

Reality check

Have you ever considered that you’re being realistic?

Have you thought about just how damaging a long term drip-feed of minor unhappinesses and irritating problems are? Let alone the big things. But it’s that drip feed that is most challenging.

If you’ve been blaming yourself for being negative and feeling bad that you can’t seem to pull yourself together. Stop and reflect.

Your right to react your way

I don’t know about you but my life crept up on me. But I kept functioning, as you probably are, and I didn’t give myself sufficient credit for that. If you’re battling on, be proud.

No one can judge anyone else or their life. For a start we don’t know everything about everyone. Secondly I may cope easily with what bothers you, and you may not blink at what bothers me. We all react per our life path and experiences. Reserve that right.

You are reacting as best you can to what has happened to you. End of.

Hello professor

The negativity you feel, that other people take a pop at, is your greatest teacher by far! Your inner expert on all things you.

When you moan you’re telling yourself exactly what is wrong. It’s not moving it’s information. When you wish things could be different you’re telling yourself precisely what you need.

Don’t fear negativity, listen. It’s the most vital component of a happier future.

It’s that simple.

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
