Hard to Choose

What are you passionate about?

Hito as a very tiny man in 2011. He doubled in size in a month.

Life I guess. There is nothing like a shock to focus you on what matters, sometimes the thing that feels like the hardest thing you’ve ever faced, can also do you the most good.

I don’t mention the nature of the issue because I’m not attached to it. It’s one thing to have something, it’s another to make it who you are.

Odd though it seems, I’ve got myself back after ten years in the wilderness, I’m writing again, inspired, full of energy. What used to bother me means nothing. We don’t really like where we we live, and I can honestly say I don’t care anymore.

What seemed to be so important just isn’t. What is important is living, what isn’t right can’t be allowed to overwhelm what is.

There is much right where we live including an epic hospital, a fantastic dentist, and a great hairdresser. Brilliant shopping centre. Trees, we have a protected Alder Wood at the bottom of the garden.

What we miss is the sea.

Our nearly 15 year old cat has caused a bit of concern, took him to the vets, none of the dramatic stuff for him. Very slight lack of B12 upsetting his gastrointestinal tract. A supplement plus a special diet should take care of it nicely.

Brilliant. So yes life, and particularly when things go well!

Hope your lives are going well.

Best love

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
