Voice of the heart: Soul

For those of a magical nature, let’s step outside the norm for a moment.

One theory I formed from listening to scientists is that the energy that animates our organic body is atomic. Atoms are the electrical power of the universe.

As one scientist put it, one moment there is a collection of cells in a womb, and then “bomp” the first heartbeat. Once that happens the heart forms, and then the rest of the body is created using that energy.

We know that what we are as beings is more than a marrow that can think. A marrow is 94% water. We are about 75% water. The percentage varies. Then there are the bones and other bits and bobs.

Something animates us to think, to dream, to create, to learn, to move. Why aren’t marrows animated? Why are we capable of so much?

Maybe the bits and bobs are responsible, but why are we all so different? A marrow is a marrow, is a courgette if it’s the runt of the litter! Why do we have unique personalities?

The before time

You ever had a past life flashback? Been to a new place yet knew exactly where you are? I’m making no claims here but past life memories are fascinating to research.

What if our blueprint carries every memory from every lifetime we’ve ever had? What if our blueprint is that electrical energy that animated the first heartbeat?

What if that energy and that blueprint is our soul?

Viewpoints

For some even thinking of the heart as having more point than keeping us alive, represents the land of fairy tales. Province of the deluded.

To speak to their heart and believe that it knows who we are and what we want, is the stuff of La-La Land in their minds.

To then throw the idea of soul into the mix would make their heads explode.

I wonder how you feel about it?

Soul-y Poetic

What Am I?

That is the question
Not who - what

Am I just organic matter
that somehow moves around and thinks?

Am I a soul as old as time
with a wisdom and knowledge I can draw on?

Does it matter?
For me, mobile marrow makes no sense
I am in here
and I am something more

I can’t prove it but I can feel it
I can’t explain it
I just know it’s there

I guess I’m the sum of the parts
Part organic matter
Part electrical energy
Part je ne sais quois

All me
Part Unknown
Capable of Magic

Time to explore

It’s all personal

To explore that idea of human-plus will at the very least delimit your view of yourself. Only human is unlikely to be true.

Humans make great discoveries, break world records, design things that never existed, all the time. Look around you, you can’t miss it.

As I said in the first blog, this isn’t the voice of my heart, I’m looking for yours. To connect you.

As such it doesn’t matter what I think or believe, it matters what you do. One thing I know though;

Exploring your potential, researching new ideas, saying I wonder, rather than no, believing in possibilities, opens your mind and expands your world. That’s how you find yourself and you do it through your heart!

Best love

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
