Describe one positive change you have made in your life.
MarbyGeris
These guys were cats 1 and 2 in 1984.
I have tried so hard all my life to make things better for myself after an emotional damaging childhood. I’ve had moments of positive change but something has knocked me back. Even so my one positive change is in the person I am.
I had to make myself into a better person and I succeeded, within the bounds that I still drive myself nuts at times. But better is better. I didn’t like what my parents raised and my family influenced.
However, the one thing that has been a positive since 1984 has been my cats.
I was born with such a capacity to love, and with them I can just love them, it’s a wonderful thing to have that blessing.
I’ve often felt that I’m a person who has such a capacity for love that no one believes it’s real. It’s all I’ve ever wanted to do: be nice, be loving, be a force for good, create laughter. I haven’t given up yet.
I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx

Amorah, what a touching story. Continue to love, you are special. The world is looking for your kind, please don’t hide with such blessing, it’s the highest commodity.

We’re clearly of the same mind considering your kind reply. You must not hide or let the world change you either. Thank you.
