If you could un-invent something, what would it be?

We are parasites. For every person who cares about this beautiful planet there seem to be thousands that do not.

We are destroying habitats, generating unmanageable rubbish, concreting the earth, and poisoning our eco system. Have you ever thought that we are not essential?

In fact the best thing that could happen to this planet is for us to grow up – or be gone. The best option though would be for tech to be wiped out. Then all the missiles wouldn’t work.

Never did I think I would ever even think those words, let alone feel that they are true.

Except the missile bit, in truth tech is also brilliant until we get our hands on it

Balance

There are many people out there fighting back. Buying less stuff, recycling even though much of that is a con. Aware of their impact on the planet and doing whatever they can. Working hard to help.

It’s a pity that recycling is a con in the UK though, sending out junk to other countries is disgusting. I used to be proud to be British. No more for more than one reason. But then nationality is simply an accident of birth, and seeing it as nothing special really could contribute to world peace.

The trouble is there are still way too many people who do not care. If they have children that baffles me.

Male world leaders

We definitely need to un-invent them. However, with the sole exception of Margaret Thatcher, who actually fell at the feet of the absolute power clause, I’m not sure women would definitely be better. I’d like to see us try though.

When America gets a leader who thinks that he can bring peace by war, invading sovereign nations and kidnapping their leader, and want to invade a NATO ally or buy a country, you know that the lunatics really have taken over the asylum. He’s breaking international law at will.

Religion

With the sole exception of the new Pope I’d like to see religion disappear from this place and be replaced by God and humanity.

The Pope can stay as a world leader, I’ve never been so happy to see a new Pope. I liked Francis too, he created the situation that led to another man of true compassion with the right amount and type of fight. They are what’s needed. The religion isn’t important, the person is.

As to the rest. It’s been too abused over the years, mainly by men (sorry nice guys). misused, turned to violence in the name of God – just how? – used to abuse women and children, eradicate other regions, and most recently to destroy innocents in Gaza.

No it needs un-inventing. Philosophies such as Buddhism tend to be much better because they are based on compassion.

And breathe

There is so much that is good in this world, but the best things are not safe in the hands of some humans. They weaponise everything one way or the other, for war or to threaten women and children.

The leaders are mainly useless, and the rich who have the power to create change seem not to care as long as they can win the race to the first trillionaire. Keeping enough money in the banks to feed a small country.

Could that mindset please be uninvented.

Elon Musk would rather allow Grok to humiliate women and children than recognise the responsibility of power.

Many ordinary people who win large sums on the lottery go through it all inside 2 years. In one case £164 million. Mainly giving money to family and friends, with a few stupid purchases, the idiots…or are they? Mainly giving money to those they love!

There is the difference. But the decent rarely get into power because they lack what is perceived as the strong character. Our Conservative leader is not strong she is rude and aggressive and I will never vote for a party she leads. Why is lying, cheating, and sheer incompetence seen as power?

Our Liberal, and most experienced leader, never wins, because he is courteous and compassionate. Yet the real strength is there.

At the last election he did the most stupid stunts, often making a complete fool of himself, but every single one had a huge point. He achieved the largest number of MPs at the last election than they’ve seen in 40 years. And the public laugh?

Just stop!

You see top to bottom we are a problem. We need to stop.

God is love. Simple suggestion. Be like God.

WWGD?

Because no matter what the cynics think – we the sensible woke do care, and we will never allow love and respect to be uninvented.
