Humans have an odd way of finding reasons to be upset, something that is exacerbated in multicultural societies.
I mean, why not take against someone for their skin colour? There’s nothing better to do in a day is there? When the religion is different that just adds to the fun doesn’t it?
Now that we are aware of so many genders, it’s not just women you can take a pop at, the possibilities are endless and there is space for so much creativity. It’s honestly hard to find time in a day for all the hate and insults.
Then there are all those religions to feel really upset by. Worse still they actually celebrate differently and at different times. Doesn’t it just make you want to get a gun and start shooting unarmed innocents?
It’s not as if believing in a God is a good thing, right? Take the interpretations out of it and all the Gods seem rather nice. Rather loving. All my children kinda guys. If one God created all then isn’t that all of us?
Throw in a few flags and use them in ways they were never meant to be used and you can upset and insult people all year with very little effort. Bonus!
The sarcasm endeth here!
Let’s move to a space of love
I feel better already. Love is a wonderful pick-me-up isn’t it? All the beautiful things it encompasses, and no weapons or violence! What’s not to love about love?
On a day you feel loving, grateful to be alive, full of joy, you just want to go round singing and dancing like Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins, or someone more modern. Inside you is that creative, childlike, beautiful world, filled with magic, wonder and cartoon characters.
Why on Earth would every single human on this planet not want to feel like that? When you think about it in this way it’s mind boggling that we don’t.
It would help if we actually listened to God not humans. That would help a lot.
So…I’m going to wish each and every single one of you, your families, your friends, your acquaintances, the people you work with, your shop assistants, your road sweepers, your pets, everyone, everywhere, inclusively:
A very happy Christmas
Filled with joy, love, and laughter
Please celebrate with us this year. On each religious holiday let’s send a good wish to those who celebrate, and I will send good wishes to you all at this time of ours.
All that matters is that in this one world, on this one planet, with our alleged one gods, we take care of each other. We take care of this place. We take care of the animal kingdom in all its forms. And we stop finding reasons to hate. There are so many more reasons to love. Love saves lives.
Let’s use this time to love more
Merry Christmas my family of writers, the world is lucky to have you.
Brightest blessings
Amorah – Deb
Let love shine brightest!
