Describe one of your favorite moments.

The box is on the floor, just sitting there looking at me. I’m standing back a bit wondering what the heck I’ve just done.

Can I cope? I’ve never had anything like this. Should I have bought it? What do I do with it? I was suddenly truly scared after being so happy with the purchase.

I opened the top, peeked inside, not too scary I thought. Perhaps I can do this.

I reached inside then realised I had no idea how to lift out the contents. Fortunately my ex did. He reached in very gently and said “You lift them like this.”

Suddenly, into my life came two of the most beautiful things I’d ever seen, I had purpose. I had something more important than my troubles. Something to love.

I’ve never looked back, and no matter what happened, through all the troubled and sometimes painful times, all human creations, I have had those first two gifts from God, and 12 others, to keep me sane and steady.

They’ve also taught me that I have the most important thing on the planet within me:

Unconditional love

And that helped me to reconnect with humans. Helped me to help humans. Healed me.

Love is the most important emotion in this world, love heals, anger hurts, hate kills.

Prize loving feelings over any bad memory, any slight or insult. If you can feel love you will heal.

I opened that box and I found the love that changed everything
