What are your favorite emojis?

I acquired my original work name, Deb Dancing Star, because I found this saying and it perfectly encapsulated my journey so far.

However, unless you knew what it referred to it didn’t really make a lot of sense. Nor did it ever quite fit. I’ve also moved past it.

Discovering my favourite name of all time – Amorah – which to me means Loving Light, actually feels like me. It’s what I want to be in this world and excellent guidance for life. It’s the way I want to live.

It actually means loquacious, one who communicates, obviously as a writer and speaker I do that, but I think love is the best reminder of what we need to be. If we have the courage.

You have to be something not just think it. That’s how so many are able to fool themselves into believing they’re doing right, when all evidence points to the contrary.

However, this morning I woke up with this in my head.

Which further simplifies it.

You cannot and do not believe in any god if you do harm to anyone or anything in thought word or deed. No matter what you may think or say, or think you believe. No matter who you are.

Time to face the reality that if this race doesn’t become loving, doesn’t find that courage, it won’t be just us that gets wiped out, it will be the entire planet.

Sadly we just lost a human being who understood that. I won’t call him a great man, he made it clear he didn’t like that, he said he was simply a disciple of God. He was certainly the greatest disciple that God could have wished for. Pope Francis, we still needed you.

No I’m not a Catholic but I know true greatness when I see it. I’m sure he had great passion and had to stand up for his beliefs at times, but his funeral and burial showed that it didn’t go to his head, or his predecessors who was also laid at the feet of his people for his funeral.
