Such as…
- Under no circumstances stay somewhere you’re unhappy. None! No one and nothing is worth it. Three tries and you’re gone.
- Never give up. If it hurts give up immediately or sooner.
- Never quit. If it isn’t working quit.
- You must make a relationship work. If both of you aren’t doing that you can’t do it alone, so leave.
- Joy is an unrealistic goal. No It’s not it’s an excellent goal.
- People don’t mean to be violent. So what? They are. Move away.
- “It’s their difficult childhood!” Mine was emotional havoc and I am the precisely opposite. I decided to be a positive force and help wherever I could. Your reaction is a choice.
- They didn’t mean it they were drunk. Maybe not but they keep drinking.
- Feeling you’re not a success. Do you have to be? Work on the happy then sort the success out later, if you still need it.
- Everyone struggles. Everyone doesn’t.
- No one can expect everything to go right. Yes you can. Believe that and only the things you truly can’t control will confound you.
- You’ll never succeed, maybe not, but don’t quit or that will be true.
You get the picture.
If you want joy seek it, chase it down, never let it go.
