We Not They

I used to comment a lot on faulty thinking and I’ve stopped. Time to start again. It may surprise you to know that this saying grates on my nerves. It shows the total lack of balance in human thinking.

My question here is:

Why can’t the people mentioned in this post be successful people? There are wealthy people fighting for peace who have wealthy connections who will back them.

Everyone has to pay their bills and contribute to society, and having a talent that makes people wealthy also tends to help huge numbers. They’re not always takers.

The world does need GOOD successful people. Many of them give generously, raise a great deal of money for different causes. Think of Marcus Rashford for one, think of the King regenerating traditional businesses, buying manor houses and turning them over to the community, managing land, planting trees, working against climate change, starting the Princes Trust and so much more.

He’s just one, and how many successful people have joined him in his endeavours over the years?

Successful people are often movers and shakers. They make things happen, they have the right connections.

Spiritual balance requires us to recognise that there are good people in all walks of life, that in a world that runs on money we do need more of it. Fact.

If you don’t contribute you are a problem. People with genuine disabilities or caring for others do NOT come into that bracket. Most of them would far prefer to work. Who wouldn’t? It would mean they and those they love are well. They often raise a lot of money for charity too. They’re heroes.

Often the wealthy in the UK use private medicine and people complain! Yet they pay for the NHS and don’t use it – who does get the benefit? Those less well off. It’s a gift that if the wealthy were to be driven out would probably lead to the collapse of the NHS.

The collapse of companies, jobs, loss of homes, no taxes, no money for benefits. No money for food. And on and on and on.

One thing Amos has teaches, firmly, is balance in all things. There is no ‘all rich are’ and ‘all poor are’, All black, all white, all Asian, all Oriental. This thinking is pure nonsense used as a truth to fit certain mindsets. He and I are very much alike as I’ve never made sense of these perceived these barriers in my entire life.

In politics no party anywhere in the world can save you from what you don’t do. Or from what you have done. The choices you’ve made. They can’t make it right. They employ people yes, but for the economy to be strong, for us to have services, we must have the wealthy with the entrepreneurial minds.

I agree that they APPEAR to hold on to too much, but I also don’t know what they give. We don’t have that balanced information. Four horses mages no sense to me, but four estates that employ and support people does make sense.

Being a millionaire entertainer is okay, but way better if they support causes, brilliant in fact, not so great otherwise. What is talent without heart?

Spirituality is not in any way, shape, or form, about us and them. It’s about balanced thinking. The acceptance that much may be wrong and becoming a force for change.

It’s not limited to one area of society that think they’re better, it’s everywhere, a light in every single soul that too many extinguish, in all levels of society, and in all races, genders, and colours of skin.

There is no all such and such are. It’s faulty human thinking.

There is only each individual and who we choose to be.

Continue listening to unbalanced ideas and nothing will change. Continue listening to anything but the idea of we, and nothing will change. Continue believing that politicians can save you, they can’t if you won’t, and nothing will change.

Listen to your soul, it doesn’t believe any of this. Then things will change. You’ll stop judging and start seeing and hearing. Us and them is not spiritual.

We is.

Choose wisely, no matter how much money your do or don’t have, we need you, and we need you to be successful.

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
