My Cats

Who do you spend the most time with?

Nini punishing Tony for long working hours

Serious answer. I spend 11 hours a day with my cats 4 days a week. Sometimes longer.

A day with my Frister on Friday is the highlight of my week. Otherwise I’m alone. Fortunately I have no problem with that.

What changed?

I was born in the south of London. I lived there until I was 36. I had loads of friends and acquaintances. Had hobbies. Knew where I was when I went out.

I thought it was a myth that when a marriage broke up the one who called an end to it was ostracised. Turned out I was wrong. I learn that you change more than one life, and no matter how justified you are you won’t be forgiven.

When we moved to Wiltshire it wasn’t too bad. We had hobbies. Met people. Had fun. Glastonbury was okay too. Fewer people but they were still there and the town was friendly.

Up here I have my Frister and her hubby. Thank God. I mean that.

We’ve not made any friends up here. However, that tells me one thing. Wrong place. We can’t move yet, but we will. But I’ve never lived anywhere that I can’t tee up a friend for a coffee.

Happily, give me cats, a book, my Frister, my best friend literally forever, my connection to spirit, and my lifelong connection to God, and I’m pretty much content.

Oh…and hubby! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Happy Friday

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
