Judge or Problem?

Politicians, eh?

They’re such liars

* Sorry I couldn’t come today, bad headache

(No worries. But didn’t I see you in town

having coffee with someone else?)

* Yes we will be happy to insure you

(But claim and we will give you as little as possible
and charge you more next year)

* This affordable home is small but cosy and needs some updating

(Your armchair will be too big for the lounge

there are holes in the roof, no mains electricity

and it really needs demolishing)

* Of course I will take your case

(I know you’re as guilty as hell

but I can tell a good story that will guarantee your freedom)

* First do no harm

Sorry we have a three-year waiting list for an X-ray

(and did we mention the 9 hour wait for A&E, the hospital roof is falling in, but the 7 Year wait for the operation will make the 3 year x-Ray waiting list seem positively speedy)

* We will do our best to care for your mum

(but we only allow our carers 10 minutes between appointments

20 minutes apart)

* The empty shelves are all the fault of Brexit

(Food prices are rising so fast
we’ve had to halve the amount in packs and double the price

but don’t worry we still make a profit)

* The price of fuel Is being driven up by ‘circumstances’

(And we’re really sorry…but thrilled with our profits)

* Your bus is 20 minutes late

(But we’re not the worst, because your train is 2 hours late

and your flight has been cancelled)

Politicians eh?

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
