What are your favorite sports to watch and play? It’s not a game but it is fascinating I love seeing the truth reveal itself despite what a person is saying, or thinks they’re saying. We’re revealed by what we do and whether that matches our words. The interesting thing is, and it’s why I canContinueContinue reading “People Watching”

What would you do if you won the lottery? Purple for Auschwitz I originate from London, it’s the only place I feel at home. I learned this when I attended my mother’s funeral a mile from my first and second homes. It was sad to be happier that day than I had been for 30ContinueContinue reading “Move”

What books do you want to read? The reason I don’t visit libraries is that they induce a sense of panic. All those books? Will I choose the best ones? What if I miss the very best? I used to be able to get my immediate wish list down to about ten, but then IContinueContinue reading “All the Books”

Write about a few of your favorite family traditions. There never were, we weren’t that kind of family. Now there is no family. I do have a tradition of my own, my Christmas tree is basically a memory tree not just a decoration. Not much more I can say today except: Treasure your family, keepContinueContinue reading “There are None”

What do you enjoy doing most in your leisure time? This blog ends well I promise I gave up the day job years ago to concentrate on my spiritual work, at first it went really well. I think that kind of holds me back. I do know though, that these places are part of saving species, which isContinueContinue reading “West Midlands Safari Park”

List five things you do for fun. Anything that takes me outside the house at the moment only happens after due consideration and the donning of arctic gear. So external fun is on hold. However, fun for me is writing and cuddling cats. I love writing, I’m back into my poetry and plays and I’mContinueContinue reading “It’s freezing!”

If you could make your pet understand one thing, what would it be? The ‘when you buy a new, warm, snuggly, coat’ series! If it’s just one then I would want to know more than anything that they know they’re loved. I tell them all the time and I treat them the way I wouldContinueContinue reading “Just One?”

Write about your first name: its meaning, significance, etymology, etc. I’m the worker bee Debra is the shortened version of Deborah. I’m glad I’m shortened as, as a child I thought the longer version was pronounced De-bore-ah, and I didn’t want to be boring. It originated from the Prophetess Deborah who was the first femaleContinueContinue reading “Old Testament”

What’s your dream job? I love writing. Although my blogs can be quite serious I have a terrific sense of humour, and I enjoy expressing life through poetry and plays. It’s fun to see what I can do with words, how can I play with them, manipulate them, word emotions, mislead, clarify. How can IContinueContinue reading “Successful Writer”
