What are your strategies for SEO?

I nearly said “shooting several million people”, but as you know I stand for peace.

The stupid joke came to my mind because the internet is saturated, social media is bought out by the famous, who also dominate every website, and getting any reach at all costs you thousands that I don’t personally have.

Plus, and this may sound down on myself, but I know it to be true. I have never been a popular person. I draw huge loyalty in small numbers. I appreciate those people more than they will ever know, they give me purpose. I owe them so much.

I’m good at what I do and the opportunity to work with anyone is enough for me.

In truth I’m also not a rubber lipped babe and my assets haven’t appeared above the bottom of a screen for 20 years. 🤣

Social opportunities?

I left social media completely this year because I wasn’t seeing my friends’ posts amongst the ads. I also noticed that there was very little attempt on all our parts to keep up with friends amongst the chaos. I posted my blog no one read it. Add a link and your reach vanishes faster than an ice cream in the Sahara Desert.

I think after so many years I just got tired of the rubbish, the arguments, and the fact that the friendships weren’t strong enough, or perhaps real is a better word. On the other hand maybe many of us just got caught up trying to put the world right, because that’s who we are, and kept repeating “I’ll search for so-and-so tomorrow. Until we didn’t.

When I left three people came looking for me out of over 2000+ friends, and only one acted on it.

I honestly do not blame them. I’ve always had true friends but few friends.

Also unless you have hundreds to spend a month your reach defies rock bottom. For weeks on end no one saw my posts on my business pages. Reach 3.

Realism

Unpleasant but you have to face it.

As to the rest of SEO, I’ve learned over the years that if you’re not supported by friends, I have two strong supporters, and family, which I’m not, and you’re not famous, it’s all a waste of time.

I’m happy to do what I can, help anyone I can, not add numbers to my ego, and trust that if I ever say anything good people will share it where needed. That’s enough.

The other way lies madness. Your lack of popularity and star quality is thrown in your face every minute of every hour of every day. It’s there when you wake up, when you go to bed, when you check Amazon Kindle and see a 4 million plus ranking.

Your whole heart and all the help in that book is lost under a huge pile of other lost books
