What’s the best thing you’ve ever found randomly on the street?
I know what I’d like to pick up on the street! Don’t tell Tony!
Nowt is an old British saying meaning nothing. I have picked up coins, and recently a size 24 label that I was inspired to pick up. When I checked the meaning of the number 24 it was all positive. That was great at the time.
Apart from that I can’t think of a single thing. So what can I do with this question?
Sidestepping
I’m picking up my pace Boredom is overwhelming me I need to run towards something better something new and alive
I haven’t been alive I’ve been waiting and hoping now my butt is numb and I have cramp I’m waiting for life but it’s not waiting for me
It’s running as fast as it can towards adventure and new horizons Those things are available to me if I stop dwelling on what I don’t have and start looking for what I can have
So I’m moving now Walking faster and faster Seeing what I can pick up on life’s highway that will inspire me to keep going Before life passes me by Because I was too bored to be bothered And always complaining my life sucked I was never out there living And not living is what really sucks
I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
