If you could have dinner with any fictional character, who would it be?

I did think of Mr Spock and then I couldn’t think why. He may be too logical for a creative writer.
Then I thought of Mr Darcy from Pride and Prejudice but you’d probably find that the romantic version in the book is actually wrapped up in running his estate, works long hours, is bad tempered in the mornings, and asleep by 8 pm.
Mr Bean (a crazy fictional character played to perfection by Rowan Atkinson) might be fun, but are his antics really that funny if you’re caught up in them? I’m sure you’d quickly get to the stage of ‘for goodness sake now what have you done?’
James Bond is very tempting, but they’re looking for a new one and I don’t know if I like him yet. Plus I’m sure they won’t consider one man who could definitely play the part – Tom Ellis. He’s a chameleon. He played Lucifer and his acting was off the charts.
Also, I might get shot in our first date, or have to run for my life and jump off tall buildings. I have vertigo and would never risk my stilettos for James Bond. No man is that good looking.
Okay I don’t have stilettos anymore but I don’t want to admit to being a totally unadventurous wimble!
The King would probably be my best choice, I could listen to him talk all night about Harmony, a project he started in Scotland and, with the help of many amazing people all over the world, spread it to the four corners of the Earth.
The movie is on Amazon Prime if you haven’t watched it, if you do you’ll forget the crown and just see one amazing humanitarian, with a lot of wonderful connections.
He might also be able to explain to me, him being cosmopolitan and well traveled, just why we Brits use the term ‘the four corners of the Earth’ to describe a round planet. I can’t be the only one who’s noticed that surely?
If you’re just as baffled in your corner of the world do let me know. 😉
Best love

P.S. Why do we say train of thought? Have you ever seen a train think?
P.P.S How would you see a train think?
P.P.P.S We are a very odd race!
