No Idea

What villain actually had a good point?

It’s too hot in the UK to have an idea, let alone think. I can barely come up with the name of a film.

I guess it also depends on the point. Moriarty, nemesis of Sherlock homes, was there to challenge the great detective and thus prove his intellect. Is that a good point?

Darth Vader in Star Wars was there to remind us not to worship greatness too much. He really was the villain born of betrayal.

The Phantom of the Opera sang beautifully and was just looking for love.

Maybe that’s the best point of all?

Melting now…stay cool guys and if you can’t don’t go open water swimming. Seriously. Don’t.

Best love

Amorah – Deb

This looks just like our cat, the food snatching villain with a cast iron purpose. He will win!

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx

  1. If it’s a cat watching me I don’t mind, or should I? 😁.

  2. The Phantom ‘just looking for love’ being the best point of all might actually be right — half of villainy is a need that curdled because nobody met it kindly. And I feel your pain on the UK heat; a country with no air conditioning and houses built to trap every degree is its own quiet tragedy in a heatwave. Wise call on the open-water warning too. Your food-snatching cat, meanwhile, sounds like the one villain here with a genuinely airtight plan. Stay cool, Deb.

    1. Thank you for that lovely comment. It’s airtight, watertight, and non-negotiable, if you eat I have some. How we keep a straight face at the vets when she asks what his diet is like I don’t know. Ours plus cat food and any other treat available. 🤣
