Italy

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

The Amalfi Coast is stunning

I love Italy. I went there at one of the most stressful times in my life and was relaxed, happy, and content.

Not just London

I tend to be a city girl: London; Paris; Rome.

Paris

I also loved Sedona in Arizona. That area of America will stun you if I’ve never been there, nature is an amazing architect. It’s 2 hours from the Grand Canyon and really puts puny humans in their place in this world. We are not the be all and end all, and the most amazing things have survived our behaviour many times and always will.

Cathedral Rock Sedona

Humans need to get over themselves and realise what a gift this planet is.

National confusion

So I love my capital city, Paris, Rome, but I’m sure that I would love most cities. I feel I’m more European, but I also have strong ties to America and Florida was one of our best holidays. I was soooo relaxed there. Take out the politics and America is wonderful.

For a long time I wished I’d been born there, but politically it seems so angry I’m (regretfully) glad I wasn’t, I’m a peacemaker not a divider.

Talking of which, respect to the American football team yesterday. Beaten by a very strong team, Belgium, 4-1, they were deemed lacklustre and the player whose ban was lifted apparently wandered the pitch looking lost.

Clearly they were upset by the entire situation and that is a credit to them.

Which makes my point about politics, it serves it doesn’t rule. Even our King doesn’t rule, he serves. That team were not helped by political intervention, but it is not they who are at fault. Head of FIFA needs to go though, replace him with someone who isn’t pals with power.

Forgive the side track, but someone needs to acknowledge that team. Bless them.

Best love

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
