Who They Are

Which aspects do you think makes a person unique?

Every individual is individual, and there the similarities divide.

It seems to me that basically there are three types of people in this world:

  • Those with the strength to be kind.
  • Those who pride themselves on anger and violence.
  • Those who don’t think about others, animals, and the planet much, if at all.

Of course there are billions of people sitting between each of those points. Kindness and all that encompasses, anger and the destruction that brings, and a sometimes chilling indifference as long as they’re okay.

Inclusion

Those three very basic, very broad descriptions are fully inclusive. The rich and poor, all shades of skin, all genders, all races, belong in all categories.

Yet humans think we’re all so different and that isn’t true. You might think your prejudices are different, but a prejudice is a prejudice is a prejudice. None are better or more justified than another due to your race, gender, or religion.

History

Is the answer as it demonstrates an individual, and collective’s, ability to move away from the past and all the old training. Some carry it with them like a sack of slime, flatly refusing to change their beliefs, and carrying on the havoc and heartache into each successive generation…

Except…

What aspect makes a person unique?

The ability to accept differences, be compassionate, demonstrate kindness, listen to and learn from others.

Add to that a love of the natural world, animals, birds, bees, butterflies, fish, and so on, and you have a remarkable person standing right there in front of you.

In the 21st Century those people should be ten-a-penny as we say in the UK, it’s almost impossible to believe that we’re not.

Way too many people are run of a very old mill.

Best love

Stay safe

Run of the mill in the UK is a saying for being very ordinary and well, run of the mill. Exactly as each piece of wheat milled turns into the same flour.

That’s the ideal, angels turning out souls to send to earth who are destined to become peacemakers.

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
