Car

You’re going on a cross-country trip. Airplane, train, bus, car, or bike?

In the UK a cross-country trip won’t take that long. Frankly I’d rather do Europe or Continental America, both would lead to more fascinating trips.

In Europe you can just keep going and see all kinds of different scenery, cites, meet a wide variety of peoples. In America you can do all that on one continent, with a couple of border issues for Canada and back, and many for South America but all worth it.

On both continents I probably wouldn’t stick to cars, hire one sometimes, then train or plane the others. My hubby would prefer a bike, wind in your helmet and all that stuff. Not for me though.

Without the helmet I’m worried about messy hair and not seeing as it wraps around my face, no it won’t stayed tied up for any length of time, it’s made that very clear over the years. With the helmet I’m worried about crushed flat hair and having to tease it out all over again.

To get that in perspective, due to a hellish childhood and a mother with kitchen scissors, I am very particular about my hair.

However, with the demented state of the world at the moment, I’d only really fancy travelling in a double reinforced Centurion tank! With weaponry.

Kidding! But only just. They’d never lend you a tank at a time like this. 😉

Best love – stay safe

This may or may not be a centurion tank, I’m not expert.

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
