What movies or TV series have you watched more than 5 times?

Well not to the best of my recollection, however, in 68 years anything is possible. But then TV is not life and watching it is not living.
Television was in its infancy when I was born, and if I’m honest the world was a better place.
We went out more, we met up with friends more, you saw films in a cinema which was an experience. My brother and I went to the Saturday morning club, it was for kids, safe to go alone, and you always got funny films.
We went to parks with a ball, it was enough. Great exercise – there are benefits to being a lousy catcher. Families played together. The dog came too. It cost nothing.
We walked everywhere even when your dad had a car. The car was for work and holidays.
Then supermarkets arrived, more channels arrived, tech arrived, and along with them childhood obesity and isolation.
In my youth I was way too busy to keep watching TV, naturally fit, surrounded by people not on a flat screen, and I didn’t go dizzy when I smelled fresh air.
Right now I’d give a lot to have those years back, because my baby brother is really ill, and just to spend that time with him again, and never let anyone come between us, that would be everything.
Plus I’d get to have all our pets again, reconnect with so many wonderful people, and know exactly who and what to avoid. 😉
If you can spare a prayer for Neil I would be so grateful. For his highest good.
Best love
Amorah – Deb
