What bores you?
With immediate apologies to all the decent men out there

I was raised by an amazing, open-minded, not perfect man. We had our challenges but there was never any doubt in my mind that touch his child and he would do what it took to stop you.
My cousin had a terrible event in her life where she was told not to tell her father something or he would kill the ‘friend’ concerned. I wouldn’t have hesitated to tell my dad. He would have done the right thing in a way that didn’t make things worse for me.
I have known so many good men. But when it comes to globally, far too many are not.
Look at the wars, the genocides, the ethnic cleansing. As soon as you take a city, town or village, rape the women and girls, and sometimes the boys.
There are grooming gangs all over the UK. Yorkshire is now famous for it, sadly, as they were the first to uncover it and take decisive action.
Now we see more and more.
Cases being heard where men have drugged their wives then let other men have sex with them – and filmed it! – are the new thing. Starting with the immensely brave Gisélle Pelicot from France. A heroine if ever there was one.
How do you do that?
In future certain men you might want to remember that your wife being a nag is a million times better than that which too many men dish out. Oh, and just do as she asks and it will stop.
Nagging means having to ask more than once.
Now we have the Epstein scandal and a former royal who has behaved in a way certainly not in line with his upbringing. His upbringing was duty first self second. His siblings and their children are all duty first. What happened to him?
It has uncovered an international scandal – and there was a woman involved which was truly disgusting – yet only one man has been taken to task and then not for the sex trafficking. I hope it will open the door to clarity on that too.
But come on America, you’re supposed to be the leaders of the free world, yet the rich are protecting each other and it’s being allowed.
That’s why I like our head of state being a monarch, as long as they have the same sense of duty as the King, which I’m sure William has. They are subject to the law, and although a loving and probably disbelieving mother took time to act, that her son could do such things must have taken time to absorb, the King has improved on that.
Leaders implicated in such a terrible scandal, who say they walked away but there is evidence that did not happen, should not be in post. But powerful men think there are different rules.
From sexual harassment in the workplace, through domestic violence, child abuse, to victim trafficking, it’s 90% men, and it’s from the poorest to the richest.
Women are far from perfect, have been involved, and they disgust me ten times as much as any man.
But I just wish to God that as a start towards true equality, in which women get equality too, the nasty men would just stop!
I know with all my heart that the decent men, scared for their partners, daughters, and of course sons, will entirely agree with this. We mustn’t forget how many young boys are abused. We also mustn’t forget how many cases there are of abuse within the home that involve the mother.
But I do wish those other men, especially warmongers, had never been born.
Together the decent, which is a gender in itself, must do whatever we can to stop this.
Let decency become the main human gender, inclusively. All welcome!
Best love
