Negative self-talk is often us doing the work of our detractors for them. They issue one criticism, we mull it over for days (or ever), and it becomes self-destruction.
It sounds simplistic to take note, list 3 things, and just stop doing it, but in truth the only way to stop something is to stop it.
Control of the mind isn’t a myth, you can say to yourself that you’re not thinking about that again, and do it. You’re not accepting a criticism, and not accept it. You can!
I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me.
