What would you do if you won the lottery?

Of course you’re assuming it isn’t £3 on a scratch-card…which won’t buy a cup of coffee in the UK.
If it’s millions a warm cosy, light, house will do nicely. Usual things, decent cars, maybe nice holidays. I secretly would love a private jet, but I doubt if we’d bother.
Years ago I had loads of jewellery, a nice, ordinary, house in London. My own car, as many clothes as I wanted, and I was unhappy.
In recent years I’ve been married to a high earner, ditto all of the above except the house wasn’t in London, and I haven’t been happy.
I know what matters. Yourself, and the people and pets you love. I have to say put yourself first , as I do write and talk about you being the only person who can make yourself important, and that includes me.
I practice what I preach.
When it comes to a big house though, we couldn’t have anyone in to clean the house for us, the cats would freak out, so a mansion could never be on the table. Plus big houses are so empty and lonely.
I can see us phoning each other asking for directions back to the kitchen – we’re that scatty!
Money is wonderful, it solves so many problems, it pays the eye watering vets bills, it gives you the opportunity to travel, go to shows, fill your life with experiences. I certainly welcome money into my life with great gratitude.
But it can only come first in as much as what it provides, so a big win – wonderful – but I will still know what matters the most.
Best love (which of course matters the most)
Amorah – Deb
