I’ve decided on random thoughts…which might make us all wonder about my mind.
There’s a new MAGA hat meme: Make America Go Away. Tribute to Greenland. Please don’t go away America, we love the vast majority of you.
Does it worry you how many countries don’t realise that their leaders are actually insane? We know ours are nothing to write home about.
At the moment the UK is blessed with boring, but at least he has his good points. He’s also killed our second big party by campaigning on what the other side did wrong, and then discovering he can’t put it right. Covid, Ukraine, illegal immigration. Not an easy triple whammy to deal with for anyone.
Hmmm…
My New Zealand born mother-in-law has been told that she will need a British passport otherwise she can’t get a visa. They’re commonwealth! I’m looking into it but how, and most importantly why did they sneak that through?
Maybe they’re scared that those from countries who stood by us in two wars after what we did to them, will take up places that undocumented illegals could have. Or come here and live somewhere they have a right to be.
Which brings me to…
What’s in a name? Leader? Meaning: must be sneaky and inept. Truthfulness and openness not required. Can invade an ally if they feel like it?
Trump must be making Putin’s day! Destroying NATO for him. But not Europe.
Weather
It’s wet, cold, and dismal here. But that’s okay because it’s winter.
I don’t tend to fuss about weather, although extreme heat does drain me sometimes. If you want to change your weather move countries, or if you’re in a big country, move areas.
No point fussing otherwise.
Lunar eclipse
Favouring the Southern Hemisphere again – so unfair! MAGA would probably threaten to annexe them. We will just sulk! Stoically, stiff upper lip firmly in place with just an imperceptible tremble.
Repetitive questions
How about:
- What dinosaur would you like to eat (you)? Answer, there’s a rumour they were vegetarians but I don’t trust that, nor do I want to eat one, so none. Or I’m on a diet!
- Should you eat to live or live to eat? Both, eat to live but live for chocolate and ice cream.
- What country in the world would you like to live in? One with a good government that solves problems and cares about its people, in other words knows what it’s doing. So Mars probably.
- Why do you blog? Because it makes me write and makes me think creatively, and I’m grateful that something does.
After that stream of consciousness I will wish you a wonderful day, or pre-wish you a wonderful day depending on where you are.
