Who Cares?

What colleges have you attended?

The right focus will avoid this feeling

Further education is the biggest con of all time for many people. Only the ones who focus that education specifically, and have a real talent for what they want to do have a real chance at making something of it.

Most people land up in the kind of boring job they worked for years to avoid.

The UK is so insane now that you need at least one degree to get anywhere, and that’s often nowhere near your dreams.

The amazing news is…

Life isn’t about education, it’s about who you are.

You can have degrees and qualifications coming out of your ears, but if you don’t find what you love your chances of success are significantly reduced. Always set your sights on something you enjoy, don’t settle for just a job. If you hate your further education, change courses.

Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t make it in your chosen field if it’s a really heartfelt passion. That’s the only way you will make it.

It isn’t education that creates success, it’s that certain something about you. School ‘dunces’ have gone on to be millionaires, because education didn’t suit them but their mind was focused and powerful. They had self belief.

They fought for themselves. Geniuses have failed due to mindset.

Many well known entertainers didn’t do well in education, but they had a dream and they fought for it. They had talent and they worked with it. That was down to character.

If you have the character to make it, no one will stop you. If you don’t have the drive, determination, and mindset, no amount of education will save you.

It is that simple.

Mindset is one factor that can severely complicate success, in the form of challenging mental health. But it’s important to remember that some of the world’s biggest comedy stars had depression, no doubt that’s true of other fields. Maybe they had the character to beat it?

Please understand that when I speak of character I don’t mean good or bad, strong or weak, I mean that spark of sheer pigheaded stubbornness that won’t let a person give up.

It doesn’t matter what else you are, that one thing is key to a happy life. Stubborn self-belief. Not a successful life but the world’s standards though, by yours.

Some people are totally happy without much at all, without success, money, a fancy house, loads of stuff, a different outfit for each time of the day, and three for an Oscar’s event 🙄.

Some people are just happy, they’re the people to respect, to emulate. A happy mind is more creative at every level.

Something to think about.

Somewhere in a cupboard are two degree certificates, that’s great, but I have my groups and I help people, that’s wonderful.

Find your own way and achieve your own measure of success.

So much love

You’re perfect as you are and all that you need is within you. Believe!

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
