When are you most happy?

I can’t imagine anything more magical than sitting quietly with a baby deer that trusts you. This epitomises peace to me.
Why the deer?
In the spiritual field we are often given power animals. I was introduced to one on a shamanic course, a baby deer.
The tutor told me not to worry, I would get a wolf or something more powerful one day. I said I was perfectly happy with the gentleness of a deer.
I see her often in meditation. She is beautiful. That’s also her name, it suited her.
Becoming different not better
I’m not a person that attracts large numbers of people, it used to hurt me, now I don’t mind. We are who we are and I’ve realised that I’m ideally suited to quietness unless I’m with my own tribe.
I’m no great guru, but people who study philosophy and spiritual practices often prefer to remain quiet. I’ve worked out that in changing your energy you simply join a different tribe, its a much smaller one and that’s okay.
We don’t all have to be social butterflies with loads of friends and connections. It’s okay to be quiet. It’s only when you’re striving to be someone you’re not because you feel wrong, that life feels wrong.
When I realised that I had no need to be popular, that having a small circle of amazing friends (including my groups) is absolutely right for me. I relaxed into being me.
Happy when I’m with Tony, dear friends, and like-minded souls, and equally happy when I’m not. It’s a nice balanced way to be.
Always be yourself, there’s no one else you can be and working with who you are leads to greater happiness.
Best love
Wishing you peace
