Share five things you’re good at.

Being a creative writer I decided to find an image and let that dictate this blog. Being too normal isn’t to be recommended. As such normal is not on my list. So from the left
One
Let’s start with magical. I live a magical life. I don’t think in the classic way, I firmly believe that things we can’t see can still exist in a different reality. My BFF (literally forever) resides in the spirit world and is as real to me as anyone walking this planet.
More than that, allowing yourself to break the mould of classical thinking and expectations, gives you the freedom not just to find yourself, but to reconstruct yourself. To become who and what you feel you are.
Two
Flexibility. I’m so grateful I’m an open-minded person. When someone tells me how stubborn they are and seems proud of it my first thought is “you poor soul”. I feel really sorry for them.
An open mind explores life, a closed mind shuts doors. An open mind lets in the new to be mulled over and tested to see if it fits. A closed mind doesn’t know what it misses.
I guess you can‘t be a magical thinker with a closed mind. 🤣
Three
Creativity. I like to think that most of my blogs are creative but I’m a better playwright. Even so the occasional blog sometimes really stands out for me, yet I haven’t worked out how to put the same inventiveness into my blogs as my plays, so far. It’s such fun trying though.
I’m extremely grateful for my blog because it makes me stretch myself. I think it’s helped my writing all round.
Four
Procrastination! Not something to be overly proud of but I am good at it.
I’m an expert daydreamer who can while away two hours pondering on life. My determination to be early is nearly always undermined by losing track of time.
However, is it a bad thing to become lost in the sky, marvelling at the fact that in sunbeams you can see light, heat, and energy?
To be transfixed by a rainbow realising that if the conditions were right the whole world would be a rainbow. That as we are atoms we are a rainbow too.
I don’t think so. Frustrating at times when the sky made me late, and I took the wrong turning following a rainbow, then saw a butterfly that needed photographing. But definitely a good weakness.
If you’re going to have a weakness let it be a nice one, and be good at it.
Five
Caring. People, animals, the planet, they all matter to me. I’m the person who will be there if they say they will. Who will check on you. Who makes time to listen.
Fifteen 🤣
So I’m a magical, flexible, creative, procrastinating, caring person. Given to being easily distracted, often struggling to make a decision. Two choices can distract me for hours pro-ing, con-ing, and making sure I haven’t missed more exciting options.
I think that’s enough bottles for a day, and partly sums me up.
Best love
