If you could meet a historical figure, who would it be and why?

Not because I think I’m great, but I’d just like to get inside the mind of a man who was so unique we still talk about him thousands of years later.
What kind of person was he? What gave him the drive, determination, and courage, to do what he did? Something so impactful that people of the time recorded his actions. That the Greeks wanted to document him 75 years after his death.
I think we would all, all the decent caring people of the world, want to be able to emulate him right now. To be able to stand up, fearlessly, and make the war mongers and killers of this world listen.
To rip down the toxic power that we have in our countries, and replace it with a strong power that doesn’t mind being challenged. To be so strong in ourselves, that together we are an overwhelming force.
Yet no matter how many miraculous people like Jesus have appeared in this world, including Buddha who showed us the way of strength through enlightenment, the leaders of this world have never had the courage to listen.
They’d rather kill millions to look strong, even though they’re going to go down in history as the most despised scum that ever walked the Earth. If there is a history to remember this latest bunch of evil, they certainly don’t deserve it.
If there is they should be eradicated from history, forgotten, their graves removed. So that no idiot in the future can worship them. Just a footnote. “Some unbelievable men did great damage on a scale too repulsive to mention, but the world recovered and chose to eradicate them from memory.”
Tell them what you’re going to tell them
Tell them, then tell them what you just told them.
Those are the three rules of public speaking. Set the subject up, cover the subject, reinforce the subject.
Which is why you will see me continue to talk about peace. Believe me I’m bored with it. I love the lighter blogs. But if people who care shut up we will never eradicate the disgusting behaviours from our society.
My mother told me that she felt the World Wars were a reckoning. The violent and nasty men were the first to sign up, and they either died or came home greatly changed.
I’m trying to remain positive that someone, somewhere will find a way to stand up to this evil. Not just world leaders, in the UK knife crime and crimes against women and children (of a sexual nature) are on the increase every single day. They were things you barely heard of fifteen years ago.
One thing I know is that women’s voices need to be far louder. Not instead of the good men, alongside them, fighting for their wives and children, alongside other vulnerable groups. The more who say no the better.
Surely we can all channel a bit of that determination from the many wonderful examples we have in history?
I picked Jesus because his message was love, but he knew he had to fight for the right.
Or in truth, he was the first person that came to my mind, surprisingly, and I had to write this to work out why. He fought for a loving world.
I’d love to be funny all the time, but the world needs to hear the peacemakers as never before. 😉🙄🤣
Best love
