How much would you pay to go to the moon?

I love the moon, I take pictures of her every time there’s a full moon and no clouds.

She moves me deeply and I just stand at the window sending to her how beautiful she is, but why would I want to go there? I can’t see her light if I’m standing on her.

The moon is of course just reflecting sunlight, her beauty comes from the huge ball of fire light years away, and in reflecting light she is made beautiful.

Today’s thought

That’s perfect for the moon, she and the sun are partners in this endeavour. But no human should become a reflection of someone else.

When someone overwhelms you to the point you cannot be yourself the relationship is toxic. No loving person would do that, if you care for someone you want to see them thrive and shine. Overwhelming someone and pushing them into second place is the action of a person scared they aren’t good enough. A person who drags you down to build themself up.

If you really love you want to see each other thrive and do well. Don’t forget that.

The moon is an inanimate object, you’re not, the moon doesn’t feel, you do. The moon isn’t a living being, and you won’t be truly living if you let someone else take your power. The price of that grows higher by the day.

You are the sun, not the moon. You are a unique human being, perfect as you are, and you should never live in anyone’s shadow. Quietly and firmly stand up for yourself, no one else will, and no one else can.

Shining your light encourages other people to shine too. Bit like the sun enables the moon to show her true beauty.

Best love

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
