What’s the trait you value most about yourself?

I’ve never had a second side, what you see is what you get, and what I say I mean.
Integrity is King
This is particularly important to me though because I discovered that I was a medium out of the blue when I was 36. I didn’t seek it, I didn’t expect it, I didn’t know what to do with it. I did know I needed help to cope with it though.
I’m glad I went for training with one of our well known Mediums, a really gentle guy who didn’t hesitate to hammer ethics in with a pile driver.
He once told us that if he ever attended one of our dems and saw soft evidence he would not hesitate to call us out.
Soft evidence is something like “I’ve got the letter T, could be Tom, or Trevor, or…” If all you can get is the initial is better to say, “I can only get the initial T, I will try to get the name and tell you if I do. Please don’t tell me the name though.” Giving us evidence spoils it completely.
All we have as Mediums is our personal ethics, good training, hard work, and being prepared to look a fool on a bad night. I loved mediumship but it wasn’t for me, I use it in a different way.
My why
Even so when you work in any field serving the public who you are is probably as important as your skills.
Politicians please take note.
People deserve no less and I will never deliver less. I lost one person from my groups because I talked about my own struggles. I would never ask someone to reveal their issues without doing the same, and I am not better or more developed than any member of my groups.
I would never sit there as the great I am, all healed and gorgeous when we’re all human. People who do that a) create unfair standards, and b) fall flat in their face sooner rather than later.
I’ve seen it 100% of the time with those kind of teachers in all walks of life. The ‘only human’ clause applies everywhere, to everyone.
Not only that, for me personally what I do is an overwhelming privilege. I love every single group member, they’re incredible and precious, and deserve only the best. Mainly because too many people haven’t delivered that to them and they don’t deserve it. Any of them.
I was knocked down so many times I thought I was a skittle. I realised that people who will do that are way more deeply flawed than those they take aim at. My commitment is to give people a pathway to overcome those hurts, and hold their hands while they walk it.
They deserve to be able to trust me. That’s why being transparent and honest is so important to me. You can’t trust someone who is pretending to be what they’re not, and I don’t see how you can mentor from a place of pretence. I just couldn’t.
In truth though it’s been easy for me, because in the words of the great Lady GaGa “baby I was born this way”. Brilliant song.
I just was. I’m glad I’m aware of it, it keeps me on the straight and narrow. It’s kept me there no matter what anyone else has done to me.
I try to be what I genuinely feel is needed in this world, and guess what – there are millions of us.
Never lose heart, every day, everywhere, millions of amazing people are out there making a difference. The others just get too much press.
As you know, decency is often called woke, whereas to me it’s the one thing we should all deliver in life.
Why people think spite, denigrating others, humiliating them on social media, lying, cheating, stealing, and being violent, make them better than others makes no sense to me.
So all you lovely people out there, be loud, be proud, you’ve never been needed more.
Best love – stand firm, be woke, wide awoke, you are what the world needs.

You’re truly so kind. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea to turn a little into a lot.
