Laugh and be Busy

What could you do more of?

I love bees because they spend their entire lives visiting beautiful flowers for food. They search all day, then they return to a colony.

It would be so lovely to be outside all day connecting with beauty and then coming back to somewhere that you belong. That’s the kind of busy I would like to be. Not a day job but a purpose that serves others.

Since covid this world has felt more isolationist, people realised that they enjoyed being indoors with family and they’ve stayed there. I don’t blame them. It’s rather a wonderful thing in its way.

My family are a distance away though so although it’s great when we see them, that isn’t as often as we would like. Tony was born 13,000 miles away so that’s a bigger issue altogether.

As to laughter, there is nothing like a big group of friends getting together and being silly. Just having fun. Laughing at the world together and helping to keep it in perspective. These things are magical.

So I would like a daily occupation that meant connecting with beauty, being useful, feeling weightless and skimming through the air. Ending in a cozy evening and night with close friends and family bee-ing silly, buzzy, and funny.

Best love

Amorah – Deb

P.S. Please don’t tell me bees don’t snuggle up at night together and share funny stories, that would ruin the entire plan!

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
