Night Time

What’s your favorite time of day?

Energetically, the world quietens down at night. Empaths can breathe.

When you sense what others are feeling, just walking down the street can feel like everyone is shouting at you at once. Emotions fill the air around you and those guys are noisy!

The world is way more peaceful when everyone has taken their stress and tension to bed, and you only have yourself to deal with.

It’s then that the cats curl up with me, and I’m peaceful and happy. Animals are great healers.

The moon is also more civilised than the sun, you can look at it without frying your retinas. It fascinates me that it can illuminate the world simply by reflecting sunlight. Makes you realise how powerful that light is.

Makes it laughable that humans think they’re powerful. We’re a funny breed.

So I’m here with my book and Hito. Tony is nicely settled. The other cats are curled up happily. God is in his heaven, and the world is a beautifully quiet place.

How I wish that for every country in the world, for every person, every child, every animal. That we could all stare at the same moon, in peace, with full stomachs, good shelter, and our families around us.

Just that Ukraine and Gaza could know peace.

How bad we ever truly rest peacefully when others can’t?

Let’s pray tonight for an end to all war.

Sleep well whenever you go to bed.

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
