Goodness is that the time?

How do you plan your goals?

Must rush!

In other words me and goals don’t mix. Bit like the English men’s football team. 🤣 Sorry guys, couldn’t resist it, love you all and praying for you to start winning.

Methodology

  • Have an idea!
  • Write it in a book.
  • Lose book.
  • Make a note, place it in a pile of notes, lose the lot.
  • Put it in my phone notes app. Never look at it again.
  • Finally remember goal and start working on it. See a butterfly forget it.
  • Get into the flow again, cats want tea. Go downstairs, wash up, prune the roses, tidy up the garage. Come back in to five pissed off cats.
  • Feed cats, apologise to cats, add extra treats. Feel like a monster, lose my mojo and pick up a book.
  • Start again the next day then get sidetracked checking out the news app and swearing about the state of the world.
  • Three weeks later start another project. Two years later find a pile of projects and scream.

However

I have written quite a bit of my new book and it’s going down well.

On the other hand, last night I printed it out and couldn’t understand why there were 215 pages. That’s when I remembered the first Mildred book.

So I have a load of material to build on that might fit into this book and fast track it.

Result! Randomness, lack of planning, going from one thing to another like a butterfly on speed, it can all work out nicely at the right time.

Best love

Happy Day

Go England!

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
