No Idea

What’s the most money you’ve ever spent on a meal? Was it worth it?

I eat to live I don’t live to eat.

Two strawberries, a banana, or a piece of chocolate can keep me going for hours.

I don’t care much about food.

Which of course brings to mind those who don’t have food, makes me feel lucky that I can be that casual, and even more angry at the people who would condemn others to poverty and starvation.

From the bosses who think they’re worth hundreds of thousands a year and need several mansions, yet their staff have to use food banks even though they’re working full time; to those who think that decimating a country and its population is anything less than disgusting; I can’t get my head around how shocking some elements of humanity are.

The trouble is that a few awful people can have an impact on millions, and we seem unable to stop them.

So I’m lucky I can be relaxed about food, and it’s a horrible feeling.

Best love

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx

      1. We’re a very weird country whose language is often inexplicable. However, unlike most countries we only soak English and bad English. Although I think our youth are better taught. I could only say the cat sat on the mat and where is the door, in French, when next door’s exchange students were fluent in English. It made me feel so silly to be doing baby talk at 14.
