Thinking About Thinking

I think therefore I am
Which means that I'm not thinking right
because my 'am' isn't right
I need to think more about what is right
before I think about my 'am'
But how do I work things out if
when if I think a duff thought
it could immediately become my 'am'

Folks don't tell you how
tricky this thinking is
Or whether the Law of Attraction
has a pause button
'Hang on mind! Don't process this thought!’

Can you think without processing?
I thought processing was thinking
So
I think therefore I am
but to be clear mind
I need to pre-think
before I think
So that I land up happy as I Am

I’ve started writing more poetry because it makes me take a different look at ‘normality.’ This is obviously a bit of fun, but it has some truth in it. It can be very difficult if you believe that your thoughts create your life, to keep your mind in exactly the right place to bring about the best, happiest, healthiest possible life. The question as to whether we know exactly what we want is a good one, especially as people change.

If you are struggling with life, take some time to stop, reflect, write down exactly what you feel would make you happy, pin it up on a board somewhere and review it. Then when you’re ready to begin manifesting you will have taken time to be clear in your mind exactly what you’re aiming fore.

You could say that the top level would be health and happiness, perhaps with financial abundance thrown in, or abundance in all good, great, and wonderful things. That’s a safe manifestation because every word is positive. It may not be right for you, obviously, I just don’t want to narrow down the abundance, as far as I’m concerned the Universe is welcome to have a field day sending me wonderful things and people, and pets, and chocolate, and and and…

The top level is safer as it can be the detail that trips you up. Plan too tightly and you don’t leave room for better. You might miss a key point too. But if you stay top level, it allows anything good to come in, and removes the opportunity for accidental negatives.

For example you may get that really fantastic job on an eye-watering wage, yet land up travelling around the world and coming home so infrequently the kids scream ‘stranger danger’ when you walk through the door, your partner sets off the alarm, and the dog goes for you.

Take your time, take it easy, keep it simple, build on it later.

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker.
