Never Had One

What’s the story behind your nickname?

There is a story behind Amorah though

Being the unexpected

Nothing I am now was known to me as a young woman. Nothing I believe in was known. The abilities I have were known but they were for a selected, tiny few.

My mother and grandmother spoke to ‘dead people’, not often but it happened. To them it was natural, not a ‘thing’, not a job. No need to make a fuss.

Then half way through a phone call I could do that too, completely unexpectedly, with a degree of accuracy that made no sense to me. Not did I have a clue why, or what I was supposed to do with it.

I worked that out but it didn’t work out. It did lead me to the point of being a medium though, and from there Amorah was born.

Amor – love

Rah – the Sun God – light

Loving Light

That’s when everything changed. It was when I realised who I am and what I’m here to do.

I Am Love

And I don’t want to be anything else.

Love encompasses every good emotion, it creates happiness and feelings of wellbeing Why on earth would anyone want to feel anything else?

Why in all that’s holy do people pride themselves in being cynical and furious at the world? Thinking that people like me don’t get it?

We do get it, we just don’t like it.

We are the change the world needs.

Just love.

Amorah isn’t a nickname though, it’s a statement of intent and a reminder to maintain who I am

Best love

Amorah xx

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
