MediEvil

What’s your favorite game (card, board, video, etc.)? Why?

Sony Corporation

I love computer games but this was my absolute favourite. It was hilarious. It was also challenging.

I like the card game Canasta, and the board game Backgammon. I particularly enjoyed playing Risk with my younger brother because he always gave his troops a pep talk before he threw the dice, which was often hilarious.

Nowadays we mostly play on our phones, frankly the choice of games is awful, they lack any creativity, and you can’t buy a game outright, but you do have to pay to get through levels. It’s a total con.

Match three games have been duplicated to death. They are addictive I admit, but quickly become a yawn.

MediEvil is still available, but I’d need a yearly £119 subscription, plus a new tv. Sigh.

Feeding the inner child

I love that at my age I still love games, it’s important to keep the inner child intact. But of course the inner child often has no one to play with as people went indoors during Covid and seem not to have come out.

Mind you, who can afford to socialise? The shock of you coffee bill is more likely to kill you than Covid nowadays. Sixteen pounds for two very indifferent coffees and small slices of cake!

So we can’t afford to feed the inner child games or cake, what is the world coming to?

I spy with my little eye something beginning with P!

Cheap, boring, and no one to play with!

Sob!

Best love

Be playful

Happy weekend

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
