If you were forced to wear one outfit over and over again, what would it be?

Which I wear all the time anyway.
I use to be all about the glamour, not quite to this level, but honestly I can’t be bothered nowadays. I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing.
It’s partly because the clothes available now are awful, badly cut and poor quality.
To put this in perspective, when I was young the shape I am now would have been a size 16, which was a terrible thing to be! In fact it was very slim.
Yet there are times I can’t get a top to fit me because an extra small is too big. They’ve made clothes boxy and floaty so that women can see themselves as much smaller than they are. Which leaves us smaller girls who used to be larger nowhere much to go. However, there are good basics out there and I’m comfortable in them.
It’s a known trick of the clothing profession, my husband worked for Laura Ashley, a famous London clothes designer and seller, and they were gradually going broke. Experts suggested they took all their stock back, changed the size labels to make them all a size smaller, which they did. Relaunched, and saved the company.
The plus side
Rather than size 🤣
Is that it’s great to have that time in your young life when you find your fashion, have beautiful clothes, and feel good in them. But it’s equally great to reach the age where all that matters is that you feel good, clothed, unclothed, or in the best clothes you can get at the time.
I do struggle sometimes with tops particularly, but at the end of the day it doesn’t matter that much.
Nothing is more important than feeling good, and we all know that we can put our finest, favourite, outfit on, and if we feel sad or upset it doesn’t really count for that much.
Yep, every age of life has its benefits. Going out not worrying about how you look is a nice stage of life.
Best love
You’re gorgeous anyway
