What’s the oldest thing you own that you still use daily?
Me I guess.
This was taken about 18 years ago. I loved that dress. It was unusual. Full length at the back.
But the ownership idea comes from realising that I need to own my own mind and my own life, and stop allowing others to pull me off track.
There’s too much stress about at the moment and I thrive best in a happy and positive environment.
I need to create that environment within so that it manifests in my life.
I do have 40 year old elephant belt though, that still fits me. I don’t wear it often as it goes over clothes not through belt loops, and I have nothing to wear it with. Mind you, I don’t have belt loops either. 🤣
I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. But what’s an elephant belt? Like, made of Dumbo?
lol. No it’s leather but not elephant hide. Has elephants each end and you link the trunks together. And little elephants either side. I’ll add an image. And thank you. It was taken by a very good photographer.
