Soul-centred Living

What are you passionate about?

And people.

There are so many people struggling out there and I know I can make a difference. It drives me nuts because I want to help.

People are so important and yet the way most of us are living is wrong. Believing things that hurt us that keep us on a very narrow path, staying in relationships that are destroying us, settling for work we don’t enjoy. It is a form of control but not a deliberate one, more an historic one.

By far the worst though is allowing the words and beliefs of others to define us, letting other voices get inside our heads and change us.

This happens because we think of ourselves as only human, and there is no such thing. We are animated by energy, atoms, the same stuff of which the universe is made. As I always say – we are truly stars.

The thing I’m most passionate about is helping people to be themselves, to work out who they are, what they need, how they feel, and what they want to do with their life. Without interference, without being burdened by the opinions of others.

I do this through very gentle support groups. We have each others’ backs; we listen to each other; we share what we feel; we never utter the word ‘wrong’. Then we do some guided exercises that help.

There is loads of discussion so that we get to hear a lot of ideas, thoughts, and experiences.

You don’t have to worry that you’re not good enough, don’t know enough, won’t be any good at it. As long as you stay with us you will succeed.

I have a very dear lady in one group, going through so much, a very brave lady, it’s taken a few months but we’re getting smiles, giggles, she made me laugh during the last meeting, it was the best moment.

It works because with us, what you feel is valid. If you don’t face it then you can never deal with what’s troubling you. If you’re scared to be wrong then you may never find out what’s right. You need safe people and a safe place to work that out. We are it.

In my groups it’s okay to be lost, scared, feel that you’ve messed up. It matters a great deal that you feel that way, but it does not define you in our eyes.

Your soul defines you, once you get back to your soul energy, once you let it guide your thoughts and life, then you will feel more authentically yourself.

Soul-centred living is living your inner truth, from the heart, and knowing that you have the right to state it, be it, and trust it.

I’m so passionate about showing people how to deal with the past and move into the present where they can create a great future, that for once I literally don’t have the words to express it. All I can say is that it’s problem solving without problem solving and healing without healing, and it works. To me:

It’s important because you’re important.

The real you is the most important.

And I know you’ll like that person. In fact you’ll be stunned by how amazing you are.

To play fast and loose with David Bowie’s Starman:

There’s is starlight waiting there inside
It really wants to meet you
It know’s it will heal your mind

There is starlight hiding in plain sight
The truth is that you know it
Now just let it see the light

It’s your truth, it has always been there, will always be there, you just need to find out how to connect.

Try it, it’s worth it.

Trust me – your truth is more beautiful than your fears about yourself. They never turn out to be true.

Best love

Thank you David for all the incredible music

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
