This is Going to be Fun

Jot down the first thing that comes to your mind.

My mind is highly active, capable of going off in tangents in three different directions at once, while writing a shopping list and sketching out a new play, pondering on the past, the present, the future at the same time, the whereabouts of the cats, and holding two different conversations.

So this comes under the heading of: you did ask, or decide to read this.

Random mind mumblings

  • World peace.
  • Order of desired World Leader resignations.
  • What’s my cat thinking right now, the tail is twitching and that normally leads to havoc and zoomies!
  • The sky is beautiful.
  • How big is a baby rhinoceros, preceded by how do you spell rhinoceros and don’t worry the phone will help you.
  • Can I possibly eat my lunch without Hito slapping his paw in the middle of my cracker, then looking at me with the “I’ve ruined it now you may as well let me lick it” look. If the answer is no, which it will be, he will then walk around the house with a buttery, hairy foot, and leave me to clean up after him.
  • Is the qualification for politician “must lack all common sense and complicate to the nth degree. Logic and simple solutions not welcome here?”
  • Do parents realise that they’re darling fun child is a perennial nuisance, and if you don’t train them how to behave in company, they will suffer for that for their entire school life? If not longer.
  • Do humans realise that being cruel to be kind is unnecessary, but being courteously truthful is necessary at times.
  • It’s hurtful to others to pretend that you’re okay with something you’re not, because let’s face it, most people can read others like a book.
  • Do butterflies know they stand for transformation and do they feel they ought to be doing something to sort the human mess out?
  • It is true that a caterpillar dissolves into a goo then from that goo a beautiful butterfly is formed. This is not good advice for a human. Descending into goo and becoming broken isn’t a natural life cycle for us and we won’t come out of the mess with stunning wings and free food. It’s better if we ward off the whole gooey breakdown and sort things out asap if not sooner.
  • Have I shared enough now?
  • Are you wondering how I cope with all this noise in my head? This isn’t a 10th of it.
  • Do other people’s minds constantly talk to them?
  • Thank God I have Amos to take over at times and calm my thoughts, point out a few simple truths, then help me smooth things out.
  • On that note:
  • Have a lovely loved loving day.
  • I love you.

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
