My Groups

What relationships have a positive impact on you?

This image demonstrates the feeling of being together, fun and support.

I started the groups during Covid. I’ve been a spiritual speaker for years, practical spirituality for everyday living, as my logo used to say. It’s a way of bringing everything you are to bear in your life. I wanted to see if I could be of use bringing people together on line, help with the sense of isolation and sheer boredom.

The premise is that the intuitive part of humans is real, that we can pick up energy from people and the air around us, that we can be affected by it add also control it. We can accurately know things, Ava the ability needs honing.

Everyone without exception has that ability, but as with all things, some are more affected or attuned than others.

If you want to understand the rise of acute anxiety it’s because more people are being born highly sensitive, but they don’t know it and therefore can’t control it. Tablets won’t do it. It’s a tool not a fault.

There have always been people unable to cope with ‘reality’. Mainly because it can be a bitch – you will put up with the way I want to behave and I don’t really care what it does to you, is an all too common factor in this life.

If you ever had a parent you could not fool, then you know it’s real. If you know things about people and you are rarely wrong, you know it’s real. If you had that grandmother with an amazing sixth sense. You know it’s real.

It’s often stronger in women than in men, but that is changing rapidly now, especially with the wonderful gender fluidity we have nowadays.

My husband also went through a difficult time recently, his guide asked if Tony could join one of our sessions to see if he could draw closer to help him.

Of course my beautiful ladies said yes without hesitation, as they’ve done so many times, in all the groups. Just opening their hearts to anyone who needs us. It would be impossible for me to tell you what I feel about them, they transcend being generous they truly do.

So he joined for one night, they said ‘stay’ and he said yes without hesitation. I was somewhat surprised. Not quite ‘ there’s a green elephant’ surprised but pretty close.

The impact

We committed ourselves to accepting and supporting each other as we are, not to asking each other to be ‘better’ or different.

We do a variety of different exercises in the groups, have a great deal of fun. They’re the best thing I’ve ever done.

My Frister, and unconditional support, is in a group, as are several old friends.

Apart from that it is and will always be my school friend of 51 years, a relationship so unconditional that neither of us can explain it to anyone.

It’s a thing that makes me unquestioningly believe in soul groups, soul connections, and that there is another side of life we cannot see but it is real. She and I are never apart, not for one instant, yet she lives at the other end of the country, we almost never see each other, we don’t even pick up a phone. No, we can’t explain to anyone why that doesn’t matter at all, it just doesn’t.

She and Frister are something I can never explain. But who cares.

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
