The Possibilities are Endless!

If you started a sports team, what would the colors and mascot be?

Bright

Firstly: What’s the sport?

Team Kindness and Respect.

What do they play?

Hugging and smiling.

How do they win?

They don’t care about winning but they’re secretly pleased if they’ve created the most smiles in a day, although they would not say so as they’re stealth fighters.

Team colours?

Bright, bold, vibrant, alive, sparkly! Unafraid to be seen. Proud of who they are and their team.

Who can join?

Anyone who wants to be a force for good, and to make people feel happy around them!

How many to a team?

No limits! The more the merrier.

When do they play?

All day, every day.

Where do they play?

Anywhere and everywhere, trust me, they’re behind you! They have no shame about sneaking in and quietly taking over non-smiley teams.

Technique

Being incredibly kind and supportive, but they’re quite prepared to lose points by calling out the behaviour of scaredy-cats (bullies and people who specialise in putting others down). If they only have to use ‘the look’ they get a bonus, if they have to become verbally involved they drop points. As you may imagine, ‘the look’ would put your grandmother to shame.

Winning

They’re satisfied with small wins everyday.

Greatest strength as a team?

Never underestimate them, they’re relentless, they refuse to be beaten. In difficult gaming scenarios you will never see them cry, you will never see them lay on the floor and wail, you will never see them being hugged and petted by anyone.

They will regroup, a glint will appear in their eyes, a deep breath will be taken, and they will wade back into the fray stronger than ever before. But beware, if you really affect their vibe they will dig out their collection of the worst jokes in recorded history, and keep telling them all day. In several different languages, don’t worry though, they’ll explain the foreign jokes in mind-numbingly, excruciatingly boring detail.

Attitude?

They’re brave, determined, relentless, decent. They would do no harm to any living being or thing. They will be there to listen, and know whether to advise, help, or just hug. When your friends run away because they don’t know what to say, they will run towards you with both arms open.

But make no mistake about it, their strength lies in kindness and it’s the most formidable strength in the universe, because it comes straight from Source, which is love.

Love always wins. We just need more of it and fewer cowards who harm others in any way.

The truly strong person needs no weapons they will use words. They know that the weapon only provides an illusion of strength. The courage to talk and listen is formidable.

Team Cheerleader

That’s my team, and we have an entire world-full of space. No membership fee. Free to every kind heart in the world.

The only rule? People are unkind? Be nice anyway.

Our Mascot is the Divine.

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
