What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever found (and kept)?
What’s this Mimsy? Don’t know Lily, stick your nose in and let me know.
14 cats are the coolest thing I’ve ever found and kept. Apart from that the odd feather found somewhere unusual.
My dad once found a pretty, clear glass marble and bought it home for me, I still have that. I have a box of treasures but most of them I collected, or were gifts I can’t part with.
Yep I really only collect cats. greatest collection of my life.
These are the latest additions. So sweet and funny, very nervous, not used to being handled but in less than two weeks Mimsy is accepting a short cuddle and they’re both giving kisses, purring for Britain, and screaming at the top of their lungs for food. Never had such hungry kittens.
They eat a bit, check the floor all round in case they’ve spilled some, lick under the edges of their bowl, go back to eating, and repeat. Not a scrap is wasted. It’s so funny to watch.
Nero has appointed himself nursemaid, but wasn’t impressed yesterday to have his nose smacked. He still came in later and did a thorough check, with nose to nose bops. I didn’t have a camera but I wish I had, as at one point they were sitting against him, wrapped around him, cuddling up. it was the sweetest sight.
I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
