All Life Matters

What’s something you believe everyone should know.

From my garden which was full of bees

We live on a spinning ball of interdependence, yet humans act as if they own the world and it’s theirs to do with as they wish.

We slash and burn, concrete over nature, live at odds to it. We are gradually destroying the environment that keeps us alive, yet nothing stops us.

All life matters reminds us that every animal and insect, every bird and bug, every hedgehog and slug has a point. Poison slugs you kill off the hedgehogs, then you have an explosion of the slug population.

If you want to keep the slug population down so that your plants look pretty, invest in a hedgehog house and create the means for them to visit your garden.

The natural world sustains us, the planet sustains us. You wouldn’t go out and attack your car with a sledgehammer, toss your jewellery down a drain, or bulldoze your home. Yet humanity will attack the natural environment, take a sledgehammer to nature, and throw our chances of survival down a drain.

We bulldoze everything out of the way in the name of progress while going backwards at the speed of light.

When we understand the interdependence of this planet, how brilliantly nature was designed and has evolved, and how much we rely on our entire environment to survive, then we will finally understand that:

All life matters, if we want to continue to be us.

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
