I Can’t Imagine

What would you do if you lost all your possessions?

Testing the new patio idea

I have some possessions that I love because they have happy memories attached. Those I would hate to lose.

Then there are the cats (one group of), and the passed cats. A larger group of.

I love my crystal skulls, something I never thought you’d hear me say – “Who wants a dead head in their house? – me apparently. Now I know why. I’d want to keep at least two of them if possible.

There are pictures I love, including one I can’t explain at the moment.

The image on the left was taken at our old house ten years ago. The image on the right is exactly the same image. Two weeks ago I sat and had lunch in front of an image that looked like the one on the left, the next day I sat down to have my lunch and found myself looking at the one on the right. Fading over time I can understand, overnight is a little more confusing.

These things happen in my world and they always make me smile. It just feels good, like a little of the miraculous has crept in overnight. And why not. A little bit of magic works wonders.

Many cat pictures of course. So I’d grab them, and my phone. I would need that. There’s probably more, my plants definitely.

To me there are pure possessions, possessions with meaning, and right at the top of the list there are the living beings that make you complete. Without whom you’d be as insubstantial as a sigh.

We all know what matters. Those we love. We can rebuild the rest. Probably better.

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
