What brands do you associate with?

I kid you not I’m not a brands person. If I like it I buy it. If I don’t, I don’t. I still eat Cadburys chocolate.

I can’t imagine buying fancy brands if I had millions. Just why? I can imagine being able to afford better quality clothes, but when I look in designer shops I see almost nothing I like.

When I look at celebs at the Oscars and other events, I rarely if ever see something I’d wear.

Who wants a car that others would love to steal? Who wants to drive down the street showing off?

I can see that someone with a genuine love of cars, motorbikes, cooking, and so on, would thoroughly enjoy being able to purchase the best, with no intention of doing more than thoroughly appreciating it. But as I don’t particularly care about those things it would be unnecessary for me.

One brand I’m not attached to is the BBC, they’ve done too much damage. They’re no longer the nation’s favourite broadcaster, they’re the protector of paedophiles and the home of the reporter who lied to Diana and did phenomenal damage.

ITV do almost everything better when it comes to news, more hard hitting, more questioning, fantastic social investigating. So I guess yes, I’m a bit attached to that brand.

When it comes to aircraft I would attach to the one with the best safety record 🤣.

Cats? Don’t care about pedigrees, but if it needed a home, why no? Any way they come is fine by me. What’s not to love.

Don’t have dogs but if one that could live with cats turned up…again why not? What’s not to love?

Lindt though, just love it. But in order not to get stuck in a rut I am fearlessly researching all available brands to be fair and unbiased. The research continues.

I know, you’re impressed by my diligence and dedication aren’t you!

I live to inspire 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Decent alcohol would be wasted on me. People tell me certain high street brands of coffee are better than others. Goes straight over my head. Coffee, weak. That will do. I do go mad sometimes and have a cappuccino. Picture of one rather remarkable example below.

It wasn’t deliberate – there’s a cat in my coffee

Which is remarkable as we’re waiting for a white kitten, who won’t appear fast enough! Long story and normal in my world.

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
