What personality trait in people raises a red flag with you?
From something as small as a cutting remark, going up to disinterest in the needs of others, ganging up to hurt someone mentally, bully bosses, gossip, spite, right up to actual physical violence and murder. I have a deep abhorrence for anything and everything that doesn’t make this world a better place.
This could be a very long blog, because I’m quite frankly stunned at the shape of the UK today. The behaviour of people towards each other. The crime, the stealing, the cheating, the lying. The shocking way people speak to each other. The isolationism which breeds selfishness and lack of connection. The crime coming from business, from the medical profession, children and youth, right up to the government.
Them failing to ensure that businesses removed dangerous cladding from tower blocks. Cancelling winter fuel payments to pensioners rather than means testing properly. £2 a week pension too much and you can freeze to death sweetie. Yet they don’t manage their spending and they don’t put a stop to corporate crime. Dynamic pricing for one.
Told you it could be a very long blog, and I haven’t gone near the truth social media is showing us about us the public, even though we do prefer to blame the governments.
Everything unnecessary raises a red flag with me. I despise unkindness. I can make my feelings very clear without using one insulting, derogatory term.
Poverty doesn’t breed crime, many poor people are the salt of the earth. It’s not the government. It’s us. It’s you. Making the choice to make the world a better or worse place, or do nothing, is down to each and every individual, and the fault is ours and ours alone.
Enough. Those are my red flags from the smallest insult, through corporate greed and crime, government refusal to actually solve problems, through to outright violence and murder. As to war mongering world leaders I loathe them all for their weakness. Peace takes courage.
Sigh. I never expected to see a world like this during my rather lovely childhood, youth, and middle age. To anyone born close to the end of WWII, it’s utterly unbelievable.
I’m writing something funny later to cheer us up, but…
I never forget how many more truly amazing people there are in this world. Or those suffering in so many countries, particularly women.

Yes and so sad. I just felt it’s more appropriate to only comment on my own country. I would have been about to write a book. So much appals me. Gaza, terrorism, Afghan women no longer allowed to speak in public, behaviour of governments…you can see why I chose one. Thanks for commenting.
