To Create Change

Why do you blog?

“Today we declared war on Nazi Germany…” and then tens of millions more died. Seven words.

Yet positive words have held off war in Europe for 79 years this year.

However, those words must be followed up by the right actions. People with the courage to commit to, and pursue peace. As such I would like to thank not only the governments of Europe, but also the peoples, for the life I’ve enjoyed so far.

Yet today we have the Far Right back still thinking they’re right. Just how? Going out into streets and ‘defending’ the murder of children with insane violence directed towards those not responsible. Their history is one I’d be embarrassed to repeat. Understatement of all time. Yet they think they’re right.

People who believe in a good life for everyone are laughed at. Yet there’s nothing at all wrong with that.

On social media trolls spit out poison and insults with not a clue that they’re pointless. The rest of us laugh, joke, share ideas, learn from and support each other. If we disagree we say nothing or we are polite.

I moved my main group work onto a private page to ensure that we could talk about anything in a safe environment. I’d had enough.

This is why I write. From poems, and in the past, plays, to my book and these blogs, I write to see if I can make a difference.

The groups I work with have the courage to be kind, partly because we’ve all had enough of the opposite. Partly because of who we are as people. We’re being the change we want to see, delivering unconditional love and acceptance towards those finding free will a struggle at times, because everyone deserves support and it does bring out the best in you.

Every word I write, and every word I say when I’m working are all 100% intended to encourage, support, and help. To help people to empower themselves their own way.

To point out the blindingly obvious. Peace saves lives. It gives us the time and the resources to take care of our peoples and restore the planet.

Anyone who doesn’t believe those things are more important, than innocents being bombed, shot, assaulted, knifed, raped, violated, is wrong. In fact they are a waste of air.

They are also completely unnecessary. Taking a knife onto the streets and killing someone you disagree with, to prove you’re strong, for fun, is both the greatest weakness and pointlessness there is.

Abusing any animal, any child, anyone, is beyond incomprehensible.

Yet somehow there are humans that disagree.

I cannot make sense of it unless they came to remind us what the face of true evil looks like. In which case let’s use the lesson wisely.

If you’re one of the millions who wholeheartedly agree with me, use your voice, use your blogs, the counter position has never been more important than it is right now.

Blessings to you all.

I'm a writer, public speaker, medium, and spiritual thinker. I suffered from acute anxiety from the age of 16 until I was well into my 50s, when I finally found methods that helped me to put it behind me. My struggles led to me exploring life through poetry, then plays, and over a 15 year period I made notes for a self help book which I published in 2015. Details on the book page. Although I am a psychic medium and loved the work, it didn’t feel right for me. It was an utter privilege, but my path was the exploration of what it means to be spirit in the real world and how we can make practical use of those abilities. Nowadays I write, blog, and teach soul-centred living, which is a gentle way of undoing past programming and connecting to your essential self, or soul. If you’re interested email me and we can chat. No pressure, it’s right for you or it’s not and you will know. The groups meet on line so no going out on cold, wet, winter’s evenings. On a personal note, I’m based in the UK. Married with five cats, no children, and four grandchildren, thanks to our inherited daughter, who has gifted us four beautiful little people that bring us such joy. Hope you enjoy the blogs. Deb xx
